Identified themselves as First Response and told me they had my details and I'd apparently had an accident in my car in the last two and a half years. Incorrect - so probably chancing their arm. They're making the same calls from another 0141 number too.

When I answered the call I said hello and the person on the the other end was clearly talking to someone in the office as he was saying about when he talk's to customers. I said hello AGAIN and then he hung up.

Started with £250 investment then persuaded to invest further.They added a so-called Bonus. Withdrawals not permitted until 25 times trading amount achieved. Lost £12,750

Robot voice called claiming that my NI Number has been identified as "suspicious" and has been linked to a number of crime activities. It then went on to say something along the lines of; "it's very time sensitive to...". I hung up at that point as I expect it was going to give me details on how I can either hand over all of my personal details or pay a fine or whatever.

Got a call from this number today but didnt answer it. Googled it but no records. Called it back on a spare phone and got "Number Not Recognised" message. So it looks like a scam of some kind, designed to make it look like a number from Derby. I'd say "Dangerous" until proved otherwise.

Company asking you to buy advertising in a supposed Crime Prevention magazine. I used to work for the Police and I can confirm that this company has no link or endorsement from your local police force so avoid at all cost.
