Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.

I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

I am getting phone calls from this number with a recorded message saying there are suspicious transactions on my bank account and it is asking to press 1 to authorize or 2 to speak to customer services. I did not press either. I called back the number and the lady that answered said this phone number has been hacked and I should ignore any calls from it.
