Claimed to be from credit card fraud department. Automated message saying a charge of over one hundred pounds has been made on my card from Amazon, also a foreign transaction of over one thousand pounds. Asked me to press buttons to authorise or talk to an advisor. Total scam.

Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. Sales call / this is a call from SD of Verkada Limited - a tech company selling security cameras etc. It will likely be related to an email whereby it is suggested he will be "in your area" next week. Of course he doesn't know where you are and in the absence of matter-transportation will not be there. It's an unsolicited sales call and not very clever. Best avoid firms like this where they start with a lie.

On 6th March Monday morning, I got an email from a company called Coinvic about cryptocurrency investment plans. The email also contained a website link and three phone numbers which I was to contact in case I was interested. I reached out to an agent called Marcus Gilliani who explained further how Ethereum will soon blow up. He also guided me on how to navigate my platform which included how to deposit and withdraw. Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.
