John from UK driveway company, a real human being with a genuine English accent, calling my TPS registered landline, thus making this call illegal, and I shall be reporting it to TPS and the police for immediate action, given that he rang on 2 consecutive days, with me finally deciding to answer on the 3rd call so add harassment to the charge sheet! I hope the judge puts on his little black cloth head covering when sentencing.

Immediate call-centre noises. Indian-sounding guy asked "Can I Speak to Mr. [Surname]?" I asked what it was regarding. He paused, then said "alright" and hung up.
Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. I assume this was a phishing attempt as the automatic message claimed to be from "my bank" (no specific bank mentioned) warning me of an Amazon debit and a large international transfer. Press 1 to speak to an "advisor".

This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.
