All the numbers from this range 020794609xx are used by the same call centre dealing with insurance marketing - car accident. If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.

Answered as was local number. Guy said something about calling back from CCD and went on immediate blurb about Legal& General, I think, and Life insurance. To be honest wasn't sure. I stopped him and asked where he was from again. When he answered and I replied "but I didn't call you" he then proceeded to tell me "Calling back" doesn't just me I Called them first, mumbled something else and hung up! so still none the wiser. Ultimately rude and can only be considered a cold caller.

This number should be used by the debt solution company - Creditfix from Scotland - for direct marketing purposes. By most users this number is rated as a nuisance call. They use also 0141 565 1300, 0141 565 1403, 0141 771 1623 and 0800 0431 431 as customer's lines.

This is not helpful information. This unsolicited number is charging a premium rate to find out who called. The message is "you do not have enough credit to call this number" be careful

SCAM Recorded message asking to 'press 1' to get more information regarding a tax evasion arrest warrant in my name.

I called the number back; automated message about traffic accident advice service. Will be added to my blocked list!

About life insurance. Said I wasn't interested. They kept asking questions anyway.

recorded message saying suspicious transactions attempted on my Bank account did not mention name of bank. asking to press certain numbers for details. I checked with bank an absolute scam to try and extort money. Hang up immediately do not follow any requests

Said they were calling from the Ravine Centre to review my life insurance - knew my name!! When I said I didn't know what they were talking about, they said life insurance .... for the children .... I said I still didn't know what they were talking about and they said 'never mind then'. I asked them to send me an email and they said they only review over the phone so never mind.
