Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.

Received call from with an automated American voice telling me that it was the Inland Revenue and threatened that unless I made contact using the number left in the message that I would have to take the legal consequences. They called my work phone. It is spam. An internet number calling a randomised number

SCAM! Recorded message telling me an arrest warrant has been made against me for tax fraud! Told to press 2 to avoid being arrested, but didn’t want to be charged hundreds for the privilege. Absolute rubbish, nasty scam.

Automated message from someone claiming to be from BT and that they were about to disconnect my landline due to activity on the line. They then asked me to press 1 to get in contact with CEO. Sounds very dodgy to me so hung up!

Automated call received am 19.3.21. Saying £400 taken out of my bank account for Amazon and a large amount of money had been transferred to an international money lender.

The caller tried to tell me they were holding a parcel but couldn't give me any detail about the sender or content. I'm pretty sure it was an attempt at fraud. Beware.

I got a missed call, phoned back and they told me it was HMRC about a tax query! Whenever do you phone HMRC and get through after 2 rings :D??!! Of course its a scam!
