Fraud Had a call from this number this morning claiming to be from Virgin Media. They were trying to tell me that other people were using my internet service. As my husband is an IT engineer and often works with Virgin, I knew this to be untrue and the Indian accented lady got quite annoyed when I tried to end the call politely - in the end I put the phone down. I do not know the full extent of the scam they were going to do as I was busy working as well. Don't trust it!

I just got a call from this number. It was a well-spoken English man who said he was from the Call Prevention Service. He said I d joined thier service in August 2015...I hadn t joined anything like that, so i knew it was a scam. He said in November (I think he said the 8th) my 2nd year with them will start. (Obviously the scanners can t count cause if I joined in August 2015 I would ve had thier service for 14 or 15 months by now!) As soon as he said I d need to pay £7.99p to get the 2nd years service (
