Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Bank card scam about a £600 transaction on my card, no bank name and it s always £600.
It seems the criminals, who obtained personal information as a result of leaked information from Talk Talk, are telling people their broadband service is likely to be closed down after 24 hours. It is rubbish. I did not answer the call, and got my information from other sites.
Contacted on WhatsApp. Pretending to be my child with a new phone number due to dropping theirs in the sink. Asked if I could help pay some invoices. When asked to call my home number, stated can not do that at the moment. So total scam.

Same as the others - an email from HM Courts and Tribunals for a supposed traffic infringement, quoting this number. The actual email address was [email protected]...
I was called by this number, but I missed the call so I called back. A Lady answered the phone and claimed it was HMRC; she wanted to take my personal details so she could direct my call, however I declined to give my details. Later in the day I received a further call, when I took the call it was a computerised message asking me to contact HMRC on the number 02034671887. I did, a gentleman, I answered, saying HMRC. I asked him what the call was about, he wanted my details which i refused to give.
01294449902 called 08:06:22 at 11:50 hrs. Caller asked for a person by name, not me, ended call.

Scam: sent me WhatsApp saying Hi then pretend they mistakenly contacted me. This person went on to attempt to befriend me, going as far as saying we can travel together and they will pay. Obviously the warm up for the scam to come.

Tax fraud scam. Says there is a tax fraud case opened under your name and to press 1 to be contacted to the officer in charge.
Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. A trace of the number said it was a Vodafone number located in Manchester! #fraudnumber #scamnumber #hsbcscam
