I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.
Recieved a call from this number in the early hours of a Sunday morning. Left racist abuse on a voicemail.
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. call from 01794368222 caller was from Microsoft and had identified a problem with my computer, I hung this up and he called me back from another number he got agitated when i refused to follow his instructions

Daughter answered phone at 17.32. Caller asked for her mother. Told I was out. Said to be from bank about my card being used for payment in London. Caller gave my address and asked for confirmation. Daughter said she couldn't give info without me being present. No is showing as individuals phone with EE.
