Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

These people have been calling my mobile a lot. I answered on the second call today and a girl told me she was from Albany Assured. I asked what she was calling about and she said something about a claim on my car insurance due to an accident (she knew my full name). That s all I needed to hear to know the call was a load of nonsense because I don t drive and have never even had a license. When I said I didn t drive she said "but have you in the last 2 years?" And that s when I said I ve never had a license

Very rude, and very persistent. The phone was hung up as soon as I said this is a council property, so no doubt the muppets will continue to phone :(

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

GGRRR! So annoying! Persistent calls to speak to someone in accounts - all to do with international payments and foreign exchange to see if they can get a better rate. Told him we had just switched and take our name off the list please (an option he offered). He then said I will call back, I said no, no point, remove us from the list we are not interested. Looked up the number before answering, bloody pain as always calling in the evening, in the habit of looking up all suspect numbers and seems to prevent a lot of hastle in the long run
