Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

Call center: Indian sounding lady called me and asked for me by name. I asked why she was calling & she said again "Are you Mrs ****?" . I asked who wanted to know. She didn't say. I m ashamed to say that I worked for Ben Reynolds for a short time back in 2012 when his company was called Crown Lawyers. Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing. We then found out that they had agreed to pursue the debt and Ben just wanted to avoid paying us
