When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made. Therefore, I am classing this as scam/fraud.

Press 1 to speak to the case officer (not going to happen!) or a warrant for my arrest would be issued if the call was not connected (yeah right!). I got a call from this number this morning on answering A recorded message (american accent0 started the call saying that a legal writ has been placed on my name I should.... I cut the call and redialled the nr and when I engaged with the operator stating I wasn't pleased with bing subject to legal action the operator put the phone down on me. I tried 8 occasions to =speak to a supervisor each time a request was made they hung up
I missed a call from 01733 611230, can't find out anything about them. Ringing gets a message saying incoming calls not accepted, so assume it must be one of the above typ...
