Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Number unknown to me. Went to answerphone, they did not leave a message. Assume is automated spam call. Second call this week from the same area code.
A fraudulent text charging £4.50 per received message. Identified by O2 as belonging to a company overseeing similar companies (all located outside the UK) called Oxygen 8 with a phone number of 03333137900. This is an automated service where you can enter your mobile number to be unsubscribed, hopefully. This message is posted in response to a second occurrence despite taking the above action.

Just had call from Hannah Claim injury law 02036349839. She told me I had been in a car accident, I didn t confirm I had or hadn t & asked where she got her information, she said from road traffic department. She again asked me to confirm if I had. I asked what was name of person she was wanting to speak to to which she replied does anybody else at that address drive. I asked her name of company telling her I wanted it to report them, she gave me it again.

To avoid extra charges or suspension of service, update your billing information via: 3-uk-portal.com It is clearly a scam but just in case I contacted Three as i just ended a contract with them and they said there is nothing outstanding and they have not tried to take a payment from me.
I was told a monetary transaction to a foreign country had just been made. BT has no trace of this number!
