I was called by a man called Shane Bennet who tried to get me to buy itunes cards to claim £4,200 from PPI. I tried to call the court but could not get through to anyone so I had a look online. Whilst searching online I came across a website about fraud which led me here. On looking at this website I found some similarities with my call, Mr Anthony Page, for instance, coming to my house to deliver the cheque. Have been called by 02034639204 02036511237 511240 511249 511253 throughout the day. I have an answering machine so don t pick up if I don t know the number but I am aware of these numbers from sites like yours. They are a nuisance and need to be stopped but I can t see who will have the balls to do this. As this comes through on the business line it gets very annoying but have also had a few on the private line and this number is not given out except to friends. Get a grip ofcom!!

Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information". I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. I was involved in a car accident about a year ago so they may well have been ringing about that.

SCAM / SPAM A new Amazon Prime scam call today. 8 days ago we had the same type of call (01203482996 that time) using the same robotic female (possibly Philipino) voice BUT this week the "cost" had almost trebled, they were apparently going to debit £99.99 from our bank account ....... Unless, of course, we pressed button 1 to speak to someone at Amazon. I think this is an attempt to scare those who didn't react to the last threat £39.99) into trying to speak to these evil people.

Man with an extremely conk Indian accent but calling himself something like James Jeferson phoned me a day after I put my CV on line, I phoned back and told him I was at work but he said he would call me back; he kept repeating details that were on my CV saying he was just confirming them. Told me about companies that I already knew about and to whom I had applied for; said he was passing my details to his seniors (dodgy) who would call me with more details, he called me three more times but really pissed
