Got call on w new mobile number. Picked up call but could hear nothing. I've tried to call back this morning and all I get is some frantic piano playing and a fast US message asking me to stay on line for next available agent. Apparently my call is very important to them! After 5 mins I rang off. Is this a number that just gets people to hang on and they get the revenue??? A waste of time.

Also similar number called me recently, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. They are Accident Claim Experts and called about an accident that I had supposedly had in Bristol. I hadn't been in an accident and asked them to take me off their list of people to contact. THey ignored my request and just kept trying to find out who had the accident and finding the error that had led to my number coming up. Conversation ended badly......definitely a nuisance though!
