SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

SCAM - pretend to be calling to book me for a conference at ExCel London in November because I have previously attended it before using a Manchester local number. Started with the call will be recorded and they have called earlier this week with a different number. When asked how they got the number hung up the call.

Claimed to be O2....hung up after 2 minutes as couldn't understand caller. Suspect scam call centre.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. 020 80583227 Spam / fraud / phishing call. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week.
