Rang and hung up when I answered
Since 07 June 2021, I have received between 3 to 8 calls per day from this number (01970 800 171). Today I answered the phone twice, but the caller immediately hung up both times. I've tried googling the number, but nothing has come up as to who it is, or if its a company, all that's its registering is calling from Aberystwyth (UK). Thinking its a SPAM caller?

Male voice asked for me by name and when I said "speaking" they hung up.

Handset showed a local number but was also saying 'International' call. Said they were from Amazon and were talking about an Iphone at which point I hung up as it has nothing to do with me. I then tried ringing the local number which displayed but the number was not recognised.
These are the telesales folk from India called INFINITE SAVINGS. I suggest you don t answer any of their questions because if you do you ll be bombarded with legitimate sales people from this country who have been told by them that you are interested in their services.

When I went to answer this call I got a message telling me that all operators were busy and if I would like to call them their n umber was. No way I going to call them, if they want me they can phone again.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! SCAM - didn't recognise the number so I rejected it.. Straightaway I had an electronic voice mail advising it was HRMC and I needed to call them back other wise I would need a solicitor and face legal proceedings. They obviously think I was born yesterday!
