Called my mobile - woman saying she represented a company I didn t catch (sounded like "Mitchell Churchill" or similar) saying she understood I had had an accident not my fault. Told her she should not be calling as I had opted out of cold calls - she hung up when I asked her to repeat the company name.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036344xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with energy comparison schemes, government grants, green energy, but also classical PPI, insurance marketing - accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Called claiming to be from HMRC. Recorded message from a female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson. Said to not ignore the message. I know this is a scam but I called the number. The phone was answered by a male with an Indian accent, claiming to be HMRC. When I questioned this he just hung up. Say youve had an accident in last 3 yrs even though you haven't. Don't like taking no for an answer. Try to get you to use them to make a claim by trying to take all your details. Get funny with you and just cut you off in mid sentence. Very rude
Had 3 or 4 calls daily for past few weeks. I answered and finally got reply (PPI), requested that my details be removed from their mailing list yesterday and surprise another call this morning. This borders on aggressive sales practice and pure harassment.
