This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Called me (unexpectedly) about a genuine claim - I didn't fully understand the purpose, but they did have relevant details about the incident (date / parties involved / vehicles). They weren't trying to sell me services and it wasn't a medical claim situation. I would suggest not giving information as I still don't understand what their involvement was...

I was rung up on 30.8.21 by a female Indian (?) voice claiming to be a representative of BT. There was a large amount of background noise, indicating, presumably, that this female was ringing from some sort of call centre. As I do not have a BT phone I rang off before she could get into her stride about rates. My hope is that she and her colleagues will slip in a pile of dog poo and break their ruddy necks.
Answered call, two seconds later phone line went dead with no response. Could hear what sounded like a boiler room operating in the background. I am registered with TPS, but this doesn t seem to stop this kind of call
