Someone from Calcutta or Bombay asking about the PPI I have been miss sold

Tried to call me twice but hung up as soon as I answered.

Same as the others - an email from HM Courts and Tribunals for a supposed traffic infringement, quoting this number. The actual email address was [email protected]...

Rang my phone numerous times last night around 11:30 - 12:00 beleive it to be a scam as no reputable company wouldd phone at stupid o'clock

This number called me and when I picked he dropped. Am curious to know who this person is.

Claimed to be not selling,asking about satisfaction with accident claim in last two and a half years, unable to give accident details or name of company claimed through but had some personal details. Spam/phishing call be very careful!!!

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. If you press 5 to speak to someone then you are cut off BUT your number is stored and you will receive a follow up call from them. This number called me unexpectedly today, I had not been in contact with this company before. I picked up and said Hello? several times and no one talked. In the background, there was a lot of noise from what sounded like a call centre. Definitely marketing call or likewise.

After completing my reference checks Rentshield think it is OK to persistently phone me, trying to sell me insurance and making it sound as though it is a condition of my contract that I have to buy it.
