Received another nuisance phone call yesterday from Nexbridge Communications Ltd still about energy saving. They are using local dialling codes but they are based in Manchester. They are also showing on google maps as being locally based but it comes up on the may as Media Shower Company who are actually based in Northampton, USA NOT UK

SCAM They called, claiming they were from some warehouse (I did not understand because the woman's foreign accent was very hard to understand). They asked me which iPhone I have to offer me some 'discount' for an upgraded plan or something. Guess what, I do not have an iPhone. I might have misunderstood something, so it is worth hearing about other people's experiences too, but for now, I consider this a scam.

Darrel Thatcher tried the same with me today. Word for word like the other commenters have stated. Can t wait for him to call back so I can give him a mouthful.

Don't recognise the number

I answered the call, I heard music in the background, then caller hung up. Damn nuisance as I stopped the car to answer. Now blocked, don't know if that will stop then though!

No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).

I had a call from this number. Did not recognise it. On dialling 1471 I was informed "The person on extn 9268 is not available. Please leave a message..." Then "the inbox is unable to take any more messages as it is full". Have put it on choose to refuse now.

Had a text sayin phone regarding a loan

This person called stating he was from RBS calling on behlaf of The Service Issue and Voice Team checking the validity of the phone number stating that my numnber had called RBS on numerous occasions. Just be careful people as I don t what this creature wanted.

Easy to get rid of unwanted/unknown calls. I hold a PPL (Private Pilots Licence) so I just tell em I m at 3000ft and can t answer. They don t realise most of the time I m in my car actually!! I have threatened to report them to Air Traffic Control...

I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" I told him no and I don t know that person and then I hung up. I ve had my mobile number since I was a young teenager (10+ years). Said they were calling from Expedite Crash Claims and that they had heard I was in an car accident. I said I have NEVER been involved in a car accident before. They then asked me When did the car accident take place? I told them to f*** off and they hung up. l suspect this was an interactive robot speaking, very believable and spoke good english but didn t recognise my long winded response for not been involved in any car accident .

I got called from this number at 6.28am. The operator said they were from NHS calling
