Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

SCAM: You have have spent £700 at Amazon & an International Transfer of £2000. They've upped their values, a couple of months ago it was half this value.

They will pressure you into the putting in your information But don't do it just pay attention to the website that you typing in your verify ur TV so I cam watch ur app. He tried me but I got on his nerves

Claim to be BT for an upgrade the English person on the phone made me think its legit but it is 100 a scam I phoned BT back on the number on my bill and they said its a scam they had my contract end date wrong also they ask for a 4 digit pin they text to your phone BT NEVER ASK FOR A SECURITY CODE THAT HAS BEEN TEXTED TO YOUR PHONE THIS SCAM NEARLY GOT ME NOT BT

call from this number claiming to be Bank Security saying there had been two transactions on my account. One for £700 for Amazon and the other for £2k on an international money transfer. Absolute scam. Probably not the real number.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.

Called about a motorcycle accident only 6 days ago (about which I'd only spoken to insurance company) - their info was several days old and when I asked who they were and why they were contacting me they asked why I was being rude and then hung up! - all the signs of a dodgy '3rd party claims vulture' if you ask me!!

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount.
