Received a phone call about a court case against me from HMRC,. I called the number back and an Asian man answered and was asking for my address and ZIP code. He then put the phone down on me. Very suspicious. I am assuming scam.

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.
