Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. So, I can reschedule by clicking in to an https:// site. how wonderful of them to tell me!!!!!...... The number lookup on Who called me says it belongs to the Russian Federation, Comy - must be a hell of long way to go to deliver a parcel.

SCAM Cold call from John of the equity team claimed changes to equity release scheme, wanted to ask me questions to see if I was eligible 'phishing' said I wasn't interested, he said I didn't need to be at this stage I then said he had cold called and it was illegal he said that wasn't right. I repeated he was a cold caller and I wasn't interested. He remained polite but realised he was getting nowhere. I withheld my number and rang 01970607568, it rang, then automated voice, number not accepting calls.

As this number is listed as a number in a region of Russia I am assuming it is a scam. I do not know anyone living in Russia!

I received a text message from this number just saying "How are you my good friend" so I immediately blocked the number as I do not know who this number belongs to.

Just has a call from this number stating that is was from the finance department of ******* (did not wait to hear any more as must be a scam). If from a the finance department of a VALID company, would write to you id any problems, NOT phone. Blocked at once.

Called this number on what appeared to be a chasing letter for £2,490 from EON, when queried on the call the lady advised it was debt collection service. I did not carry on with the call, checked my account and called EON direct who confirmed this was not from them

this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.
