Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

SCAM Automated call claiming to be from HMRC threatening legal action.
Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is a dangerous fraud scam to gain access to your bank details. The caller is a recorded message telling you that your tax return has indicated that you have been found to have entered fraudulent details and will be fined or face jail. SCAM Thiks was a recorded meesage claiming to be from a 'bank security' firm, stating there had been two unlawful Amazon purchases from my bank account. I hung up at this point, and checked my bank account. There had been no illegal activity on my account. Beware of this number and messages on it.

Had the same as Judit when trying to call back after missing the call, which first showed up as an 0113 number in Edinburgh. Rang again today on this number and I answered: Indian guy with thick accent saying I had a car on finance in the last 8 years. Obviously this applies to most people. I just hung up. This occurred the day after listing my car for sale, so it's obviously a scam targeting those selling cars on Gumtree or Autotrader. I doubt they could tell you anything about yourself if you asked.
