Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.

Fraud SCAM Fraud call that stated my card had been used for two large transactions of £300 Amazon and £1100 international payment. Automated message sounds like it is from the bank, but did not state name of bank, or cardholder. Used another phone to call the number back (out of curiosity). Mobile network sates it is an invalid number, and call made from Ireland, with a London code?

They were pretending to be BT Openreach. Noise in the background and English speaking was poor. Tried to tell me my internet was poor and we’re about to get into asking for my details. I blocked the number.

I do not know this number, its location is given in a completely different part of the UK than the one where I live. I believe that it can be a dangerous connection. Be careful.

Received 2 calls from this number today. Did not pick up as I did not recognise the number. However, I am a bit concerned as the number has been traced to Chechno-Ingushetia. Just be very careful if you receive a call from this number!SCAM

Answered and it hung up within 3 seconds, could be anything so marked as dangerous

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.

Definitely a scam said that over £1,000 had been taken out of my account by Amazon and someone else. Automated message, put the phone down

SCAM Foreign sounding man asked if my name was ###### when I answered "Who's asking?" he hung up. Number has now been blocked.

These people claim to be life insurance but are abusive and rude on the phone. They won't stop calling

SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE

Unsure but a recorded voice will tell you that there is a serious case against you and that you must respond otherwise you will get your National Insurance cancelled. I suggest you hang up immediately and block the number.

Government - Not sure whether true or not but was paranoid so hung up. Said my national insurance had been compromised.

SCAM reportedly from a bank about unusual back payments. No mention of what bank which makes me suspicious.
