0345 351 0192 called me twice at 08.50 and 09.00 hours. I answered the second call and got a recorded message (which gave my first name wrong, called me Michaela not Nicola!). Saying they were Lloyd’s Bank and inviting me to press any button to speak to someone about fraud on my account. I DO NOT HAVE A LLOYDS ACCOUNT! I have a trueCall installed for my mother best investment ever!!! She has had 41 calls from this number since July. Coincidently, or possibly not, this number started calling after she replied to an advert in the local paper for a free hearing aid. Since replying to the advert here unsolicited calls have gone up from 40 to 80 a month. All blocked fortunately. I believe that the woman asking the question, 'I was informed that you have been involved in a car accident' is a recorded voice which responds to your answers. When I said that she was misinformed another phrase asking for 'the date of the accident', came back and so on until the line went dead. I'm convinced this is a robot! It's irritating at best, but would be upsetting for anyone who had a family member or friend involved in a bad accident.
I have two missed calls from this number but I don t know anyone in Glasgow.
