Boiler room investment scam claiming I had opened an account with them (which I had not).
Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.
Claimed to be a sky engineer who noticed I had low broadband speed......(not true) Then tried to convince me to use my mobile phone to call a number to fix it.????????..... Obvious scam....so I hung up.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. SCAM Keep calling for alleged jobs, which I don't have the skills for or are listed on my cv.
SCAM - Misleading and untruthful for customers. They train their staff to convince you to put in your card details then they take payments without permission and claim that you agreed to their "terms and conditions" when you have not. Very shady.
