Definitely a scam said that over £1,000 had been taken out of my account by Amazon and someone else. Automated message, put the phone down
They claimed to be from BT and said my router was slow. I told them I would phone them. I suspect it is a scammer.
The caller said we had banned loft insulation. Even though they didn't ask if we had any or which kind. They said we had to let their surveyor come and inspect the loft. I asked several times who they were and she kept saying we work with lots of companies. I said I would get it looked at myself and hung up.

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.

This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.

He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

They were going to get my grants and everything but they are not communicating by email which is strange. When I ask them to send me an email they don’t send any email.
