I keep getting calls from this number, but no messages left on answer machine. From other comments, it seems to be a call centre making nuisance calls. Now I know not to answer the calls and hopefully they will stop.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. 024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)

Had a missed call from this number, no message left. As it was a local number to me, I thought it was genuine, so I called back. I received an automated message about "PPI and checking that you have already claimed it back". No idea who it is, but am blocking this one. A new low for the telemarketing companies to use numbers that seem to be local to you.
Recognised first part of number as probably an unwanted caller, so just ignored it before using app to block it in future.

These people rang me and tried to scam me. First by saying they were talk talk. And the second time they said they were BT. They say there is something wrong with your internet then they try to get you on a computer or lap top to begin trying to scam you. Don t fall for it they ALMOST did it to me but I was lucky to realise they weren t legitimate.
