A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. SCAM Female voice. The person pretended to be from a Bank. Whenever I heard the first few words I put the phone down because I realised that the call was a SCAM and that personal information was probably what was wanted.
Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call.
