Well-organised scam, claiming that internet connection to be terminated in 24 hours due to illegal activity. Obviously tied in with call received 5 minutes earlier from Kuwaiti number 09655448846 bearing similar recorded message
SCAM!! Received a call from "David" from carphone warehouse. He called me "Mam" on the phone, and when i asked him what my name was, he said their privacy policy didn't allow them to see names, just numbers. I said I didn't accept calls from people if they didn't know my name and his reply was "are you deaf or something?" I didn't get the chance to answer his question as he swiftly hung up! Clearly a scammer of some sort! AVOID!!

I am calling on behalf of the Local Government Grant Scheme". I asked if he was from the local government, and he said yes. "Which local government?" I asked. "Nottinghamshire," he replied.
