Indian claiming to be from an internet provider, suggesting that there are error reports which have resulted in our IP address becoming public from private. Requested for me to pass over the IP address. Put phone down.
These are the telesales folk from India called INFINITE SAVINGS. I suggest you don t answer any of their questions because if you do you ll be bombarded with legitimate sales people from this country who have been told by them that you are interested in their services.

When I first answered phone, extremely loud background noise (sounded like a railway station). Indian accented mail asked for Mrs ***. When I asked what it was about he said it was about my internet connection. I started to tell him I had no problems with my internet connection, but he hung up before I finished the sentence! I was called by this number and feel concerned that it maybe a scammer: the message - delivered in synthetic speech claimed to be from HMRC and said tax fraud had been committed in my name and I needed to press 1 immediately or I would be arrested for fraud. I did not press 1. I hung up and searched the number but have not seen any negative reports yet.
