They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. He then told me that he got it from my local council. At this point I told him that I did not need his services. The phone line was poor in sound, therefore

well, this wasn't the correct Country Code: i was searching for an UK (United Kingdom) phone (+44)7312416101 who appeared in my WhatsApp... !! as "Business" account.
This number is not a scam! at first this number called me telling me about loads of things and then she was like “wait this isn’t *****.” And she felt really bad, poor girl

They rang 2-4-23. Guy American accent sounded like radio phone (clever) said HE was from My Heritage . Offered me a"Deal" nearly£200 on 2 subs that were nearly due! If I lumped them together! I CAME OUT with all the jargon that's available if u check threads on my Family tree! CLEVER? DUH! By the time he was getting desperate it was down to £85! NO
I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.
