An automated message was played that the were calling from National Crime agency regarding suspicious activity on my NI account, and that my NI number and account will be closed and any assets I have frozen, and asked to press option 1 to speak to an officer, I did not press it!!!

SCAM / SPAM A robot voice telling me I'm about to be arrested for a tax scam!! Was instructed to press 1 to call back. Obviously a premium number.
As above: pretend to be Talk Talk, slow internet etc., then get abusive when told they're scammers.
I misses this call as my phone was off but a quick Internet search told me this was an Indian scam call centre pretending to be in London, with an outside London area code. This number can be purchased for roughly ?3. Do not answer it is a scam.

I am so angry at these people. I am away on business and my phone is constantly ringing in meetings. I am out of the country and I think its urgent. Someone somewhere has to stop these people being like a bad smell that just does not go away. I have had 2 a day for the past week. They all should be stopped and closed down immediately. This number is calling hourly. We answered once. BT scam. On another occasion I did 1471 and was put through to a confused lady. Looks like the scam is managing to use a legitimate number. I just want the calls to stop!

Got a text from this number and claims to be British Gas asking for a meter reading. From the other reports, this is a scam and very dangerous !
Claim to be Money Extra, or sometimes Money Expert asking about PPI. I have found elsewhere on the web this is a scam. Phone probably about twice a week.
