Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. I believe this number was used on a scam email purporting to be from BT asking me to update my profile or I would be cut off.

this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.

SCAM Claiming to by Lloyds - a bank I don’t even have an account with. Text message saying “You have requested £829.99 to Asim Khan DEBIT will reflect shortly on your accounts. Contact us if this was NOT you via, 0333 339 4872”. Apparently both numbers in France. FFS fed up to the back teeth with scammers - LPA for my mum who has been scammed out of thousands of pounds. They need shooting.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

I received a text from Vodafone on 41145 they asked me to confirm my age to complete a survey, Vodafone know my age and only contact me via e-mail, I believe this is a scam
