I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. Bogus caller purporting to be from amazon, used my name which I confirmed and he asked for confirmation that I had ordered a new i-Phone 12 which I had not. This is just a bluff/smokescreen to raise anxiety and alarm. Caller asked how I usually access Amazon and requested that I login to my account. My curiosity about the call stopped here. I told the caller that I did not trust the call and hung up. To confirm, there has been no Amazon activity on my account. The caller simply wanted me to open it.

Received a text today from 07520619511 about a labourers job required by CLS and giving a landline number for CLS to apply. I am a 68 yr old woman and not in the market for employment let alone a labourer. The text was sent by mobile 07520619511 which when checked on this site is a SCAM number

Indian male called me regarding computer equipment he said I had pre ordered to the tune of over £1000. From Amazon I never made any ordered. Highly dangerous scam.

Be careful dealing with this number. He is acting as a professional and will show a lot of fake proof for you to believe and get your trust. He is a very dangerous in person. I'm giving a serious warning to all girls, especially here in UK meeting with him. I hope nobody will be the next victim and suffer the same faith with me.

SCAM Phoned me claiming to be my "domestic item" insurance provider and wanted me to renew for another year. Could not supply any details of policy or date when taken out. The number is answered as "Pro Marketing"

01268395512 - Definitely a spam call. They asked my name 3 times which i did not confirm, 3 times i asked who they were, they gave a garbled response and when i asked the nature of the call they hung up.

Automated call claiming that charges were made on MasterCard

SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

Claimed to be from o2 offering 30% discount on bills due to cost of living crisis - clearly targeting vulnerable people who may be desperate. Offered no information to validate who they were & told me "don't you worry about that" when I asked any questions!
