As usual, my answering machine takes any call, and automatically dials 0171 to record the caller s number if available. Repeated calls from 0139852762 with no message left. I don t care, I don t have to answer, and it must cost whoever it is!

Called claiming to be working in association with Sky re blocking nuisance calls they new our Sky password. Very worrying contacted Sky to let them know.

I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts. I received email regarding delayed deliver on 2 consecutive days. Didn t call as something felt wrong. 6 days later I thought I d google the number and as it transpires it s a cost trap. Don t phone it. If there s genuine reason, a company will always get back back in touch.

Steve is correct, it is Bauer Media. If you ve entered your number online somewhere for a free magazine (I d asked for Marie Claire / Instyle) then they re calling for your address. Theyll also offer you 3 issues for £1.00. Spoke to a lovely lady and she asked if I wanted future calls for offers and so I said no. It s all legit. However, they need to work on their employees... I had another call minutes later from a guy there who was on the phone to someone else!!
