I live in Manchester. Just had a call from these people trying to guide me to allow them remote access to my computer to "fix problems". I knew it was a scam to rip personal info from my computer. Just wanted to share that they are now contacting phone numbers in the Manchester area - be warned

Has called me at same time in last few days. I always don t answer but put phone in front of television news very loudly. They seem to ring off when they get the message! Hope it s costing THEM lots of money.

Had numerous calls from this number - just cut them off

I wanted to answer the phone but the caller hung up immediately. Does somebody have more information?

PPi seller not registered with Telephone preference service.

Asked for my Mum, who died 3 years ago. No apology when I mentioned this and they just continued with the call. I asked what the call was about and they went silent so I hung up.

If you listen closely on loud speaker there is a recorded message and then they hang up but you cannot understand the message...

THey keep calling me at least once a day from Glasgow, even though I m registered with the TPS.
