Called by this number on my mobile 11.15AM BST on 14-Sep-21. By the time I'd switched to my headphones they'd hung up. Tried calling back it said the number wasn't in service.
This caller tried to take control of my computer by asking me to run the file Ammy. He said he was from windows error reporting and he could see on his screen that my computer had over 2000 error reports. I didn t run the file, as my windows firewall blocked it when i clicked Run, and i was suspicious.

Scammers calling as HMRC, left a voicemail saying need to call back othervise ill be in big trouble and will face the consequences in a recorded robotic voice. When called back asked why im calling and my name and other details. When I asked them to email me what its about they hung up.

If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it). This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. This is a outbound call from the Capita SIMS helpdesk. They provide software support for schools in England.
Phoned to tell me my washing machine warranty has expired and they're sending me the new paperwork by Royal Mail. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got.
