Very difficult to get them to drop the number, and I think when they do, they pass your number to another of the same type of scum. Caller claimed that I was due a refund due to me having made an over-payment. He then proceeded to ask for details of any loans I ve had. When I said I hadn t had any, he denied he had mentioned any refund or over-payment - said he had only said maybe or possibly.
