Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.

This was the TV licencing debt collecting agency, Akinika. Agressive calling. My mobile rang straight after the land line call which I didn t answer. I blocked them on my mobile, but I don t have that facility on my DECT phone. I didn t answer. I m skint over Christmas lol, and intend to pay up on the 8th Jan when I get paid. I owe them ?29.10. Surprised they sent it to a debit collection agency. I had got a letter on xmas eve from the company. Thanks for that, ;-)

Just got to speak to someone on 0800 987 8999 and have asked for my number to be taken off the caller list - lets see if it works! The company is Positive Protect.

This number belongs to a loan company called Wentworth Direct. Stay clear of anyone linked to this number as they are con artists.

Up to 3 calls a day! Don't know who it is though.

PPI cold-caller Won t take no for an answer

Very pleasant lady asking about membership to CLA. All above board.

Has called me twice in one day. First was a male caller, second was a female. I just kept quiet/mute my end and listen to them repeatedly say "Hello, hello?"

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. THREE weeks of DAILY calls, usually two or three times a day. Sick of it

This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.

Received a call from this number.

Called to tell me "HMRC were filing a suit against you press 1 to talk to your case worker." Calling and not specifying which ocupant of the premises they want. HAHAHAHA HMRC do not work this way! HMRC can write me if they want to file a law suit against me or they can write my partner if it is her they want! Hopefully people are getting wise to this crap, but maybe not as they keep doing it! :(
