This number just called me, sounded like a foreign gentleman, he asked my full name then hung up.. Sounded like a call centre spammer.

I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" I told him no and I don t know that person and then I hung up. I ve had my mobile number since I was a young teenager (10+ years). I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Said they were calling from Expedite Crash Claims and that they had heard I was in an car accident. I said I have NEVER been involved in a car accident before. They then asked me When did the car accident take place? I told them to f*** off and they hung up. l suspect this was an interactive robot speaking, very believable and spoke good english but didn t recognise my long winded response for not been involved in any car accident .

CALL ASKING ABOUT DELAYED FLIGHT COMPENSATION

This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

After a long pause, some asian sounding woman wants me to switch on computer as there are problems. Yeah, right.
