These b took money out of my bank account pound 99 pence and the bank gave me a overdraft even tho it never asked for one so now i o the bank money why don t the police do something?

SCAM Claimed to be Virgin Media calling about line speed. As the number he dialled was to my company direct line, I knew it was not a personal call and could not be related to my property etc. As soon as I questioned him- he hung up. Blocked.

Similar call as the previous comment. Telling me that they are calling from "BT" and they have observed some hacking activity on my internet connection. want to connect remotely and will provide a pin which will resolve the issue. When I asked them about the registered company name and address they hung up.
Telemarketing
I subscribe to The Economist, and renewed my subscription very late this year, a few days after the expiry. I finally picked up this call after several days and they said they wanted to know if I would renew my Economist subscription. I said that I already had, and they said "Oh, let me check my new system. Oh yes, you have, that s ok then." and that was all. A little odd, but seems like the Economist gives them the opportunity to salvage some lapsed subscriptions.
Get called around 5 to 8 times a day from this number when I answer no one replies

I received a text msg to say my contract is expiring and asking to ring them. My contract is not expiring for another three months so I checked this site. Looks like its a SCAM.
