Received a call at 14.27 p.m. from Barclays/Barclaycard saying that two transactions had been made this morning. One for £2000.- and another one for £700.-plus. If I agree to this transaction press one, if I want to speak to someone press two. I pressed two. Then there was a pause and after a while the person with an American accent said good buy.
This number rings me every single day! I ignore the calls, because I have no debt what so ever, they leave me voicemails and send me text messages. It s getting very ridiculous now! I just wish the calls would stop!!!!!
This number called me and an Asian man was on the phone. He had all my details and said it was in regards to my Windows computer and they had records of a virus and needed to log onto it to clear it. Funny thing is I dont even have a computer. As soon as I told him that he hung up quickly. This is deffo a scam
This is a con artist pretending to b calling from BT Openreach in order to gain access to your computer and/or steal money from you.
SCAM At 09:34 I had a call from 020 8399 5899 (an unknown local number to us). An Indian sounding man called Peter, allegedly from BT Openreach was calling about the fluctuating broadband speed they had noticed we were experiencing (quite plausible). I told him we'd already had a call from one of his colleagues about this earlier this morning. He said, "This is BT Openreach, sir". Telemarketing, company called Beneficial wanting to do a survey. Told them to remove my details. They continued to say they will only contact me once every three months. I reiterated my request to remove details or they will be reported for harassment.
