This number text me saying I had a parcel that needed postage paying on it. This is a scam

a person with a funny usa-ish accent calling. gave me an acronym for a company they are calling on the behalf of - I asked who they were and he said Blog...Security something. I said I was not interested, wished him a good day and disconnected. No idea how they got my number.

Not sure.. but I got an automated message when I answered to tell me that my Insurance number had been compromised and I should press 1 before they take action. I hung up. Sounds like a scam !!!!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Atleast 6 calls a day for the past three months!!!!!! Interesting. I called them back from my land line and 141 d the number. after them hanging up on me 5 times they somehow transfered my call to my mobile!! So whenever I called the number my mobile rang! This number has been bothering me for a few weeks now and I ve ignored it - Answered it today and it was a company telling me they had been informed I ve been in a car accident that wasn t my fault.. "Is that right" she asked. I think the company is sigma or something similar. When called back it says incorrect number.
