When I refused to tell the man if I was a home owner or a tenant, he asked me to stop wasting his time and tell me if I was F...ING interested. He then called me an F...ING W..RE and said that he would make sure I had 10 nuisance calls to replace this one I should have answered. This number is from Fresh contacts , that use other numbers, that ask for same person, who is not me. They usually won t say who or what they are. But they keep on ringing for the last two years! Also, beware Solar Quote , who ask for the same name, who is not me!

Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.

Go a couple of missed calls. They don't leave a message. Which is almost as annoying.

Scammers pretending to be Inland Revenue and threatening

Have been rang by this number at least once a day for about 3 weeks - I normally miss the call as I don t have my phone on my at work. On the one occasion I picked up no one said anything on the other end when I said Hello then they put the phone down. I tried to ring back but it went the the guardian newspaper voicemail - I have no connection with the guardian so I don t think its very legit!

This company calls me persistently, today I have had 3 calls, even though their number is blocked on my mobile and their calls are instantly disconnected. This leads me to believe they are using some automated calling app. I don t believe they are based in UK but are using UK numbers to give that impression.

An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.
