synthesized voice claiming to be BT saying they had been trying to telephone me and were going to cut off my telephone and broadband services because of suspicious activity. Wanted me to press 1. Clearly up to no good.

Call received at 8.05am. Guy supposedly from BT making me aware that there was a fault on my line. Definitely a scam call.
Number calls repeatedly, both this number and the same but ending in -2016. They always start "We have received information you have been involved in a car accident that wasn t your fault" Each time I ask them why they continue to call instead of removing me from their database, as I am never going to provide them with anything. They immediately hang up.
