I didnt answer because it was an unknown number but they left a voicemail which sounded like a robot saying I needed to call them back with my solicitor and they threatened to push for legal actions if I delete the voicemail or ignore them

01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

This company called offering cheaper gas and electric. Played along with them for a bit and he asked who our current supplier is. Told him I was not prepared to give him that information. Could not get the guy off the phone. Told him multiple times I was not interested in anything he had to offer. He would not give up! In the end just left the phone on the counter until he got fed up!
