Got a text message saying "We have been trying to contact you regarding your PPI Claim, we now now have details of how much you are due, reply POST for your pack or STOP to opt-out" This is an obvious scam, as I know I never had PPI. Do not rely at all to these messages. Completely ignore them and block the number.
We have received over the last four days a lot of calls. Muffled answer message saying hrmc please can you or your solicitor return our call immediately. Googled the number and it is a scam. Did not call the number as usually they would send you a letter.

Claimed to be from our Bank, "Something important to discuss", and wanted our "security code" or part of it. Asked us to call this 01404 number (in Honiton ?). We refused to do so, and hung up. Didn't use our phone for a while in expectation that they'd hung up or been disconnected. Can't be sure, but this has all the hallmarks of a scam/impending fraud. Potentially dangerous in our view.
